This is a transcription of Nobuo Uematsu's Prelude from Final Fantasy VII
(standard tuning).
The tab is all my own work.

Repeat from start.

Note: This version of the theme only covers two octaves (per section),
whereas the original covers 4. If you want to play the whole version you
need to play the following (just ascending part of first line tabbed):

                             /^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
---------------------------15--------15-20-15--------
-------------------13-15-17--13-15-17--------17-15-13
-----------------12----------------------------------
---------10-12-14------------------------------------etc
-------10--------------------------------------------
8-10-12----------------------------------------------

with the parts within /^^^ played one octave higher. This can be
accomplished by using an octave pedal, or by playing those notes with
pinched harmonics (pinching half way between the fret you are holding and
the bridge).

If anyone would like me to tab the full version (with pinched harmonics
and overlying melody), or if anyone has any comments or questions please
email me.
